Where did I go?

If you’ve noticed for the last few months, I have been rather silent here and my socials. Where did I go? Well, there are many reasons.

First, I had been planning a wedding for April. Then, started working on a house that we would be living in. Trust me it needed work. I am thankful for all those who helped. Boy was I tired of working on it though. The work on the house put me in a non-creative mood and all the planning caused me to go silent. 

Then, the virus hit…everywhere. This shook up plans for everyone and my wedding. We rolled with the punches and pushed the wedding back with a whole new plan.  June 20^thwe got married. Was it what we originally planned? No. But was it something beautiful and something we will remember? Yes. 

So, what have I learned? I learned it’s ok to take a break. It’s ok to take time to self-asses to make sure I can handle anything thrown at me. This correlates to music. If you hit a spot that’s giving you too much stress, it’s ok to step back and breathe. Make sure your mind and body are up to practice. 

Thank you for being patient while I’ve been gone. Hope to be back and ready to make some music and inspire others to do so as well.
